This book is about a boy who goes to a camp because he stole a pair of lucky shoes. I read up 2 that part but I will read on and continue to see what happens next.
This book is about a boy name Stanley Yelnats. Stanley was accused of taking a pair of sneakers from a museum. The judge had told him he can either go to jail or go to a camp. He choose to go to camp because he had never been to camp before. When Stanley was on the bus and they were approaching Camp Green Lake he noticed there was nothing like a camp it was just a open field. So when he got there they told him what he had to do.
This book is about Stanley Yelnats. Stanley was accused of stealing a pair of shoes that were used by a famous player. The judge said go to jail or camp. He went to camp because he never been to any. They told him everything he had to do.
Comment about friendships and loyalty. How does Stanley negotiate friendship at Camp Green Lake? Why does Stanley give up the "artifact" that he finds?
Stanley has a friend at Camp Green Lake named Zero or Hector Zeroni. Zero doesn't know how to spell, read, or write and Stanley decides to help him become a smart boy. Stanley gives up on the artifact because he wants to give some of it to Zero & his family & he wants to save the rest because it could be worth alot of money in the future.
I finished holes and it is a very good book. It teaches you about friendship, loalty, and just the world in general. Sometimes things happen for the worse and you have to deal with it but you can always make a bad situation a better one just like they show you in this book. In this story it also taught me you can't always blame other people for things that happen in life.
